Colleagues can be in with a chance of winning two return flights and hotel accommodation on BA’s special charter flight to Mardi Gras.
The extra special flight, complete with onboard performances, departs London Heathrow on February 24 for New Orleans, the jazz capital of America. The lucky winners will have three days downroute, including accommodation and Grandstand passes, to enjoy the sights and sounds of Mardi Gras before returning home on February 28.
New Orleans is one of BA’s newest US destinations in the network and will operate from London Heathrow to New Orleans from March 2017. The addition of ‘The Big Easy’ is part of BA’s Plan 4 flying people to the places they want to go, opening up even more options for both business and leisure travellers.
How to Take Part
Colleagues can donate on the BT MyDonate page, with all donations being entered into a prize draw. Donations must be made before 5pm on December 19, 2016.
There is no limit to the amount of times you can donate and all donations will be counted towards the draw.
50 pairs of tickets will also be on offer from November 20 to December 3 via a special eBay auction. Customers can bid on unique packages and 10 per cent of the final sale price will be donated to Flying Start.
About Mardi Gras
Mardi Gras is the infamous annual festival in Louisiana with visitors travelling from across the world to watch the parades, collect copious beads, marvel at the masks and soak up the party atmosphere. It is not for the faint-hearted; the streets are brimming with party spirit and people revelling until the small hours. But those lucky enough to attend can enjoy non-stop festivities on Bourbon Street, catch a glimpse of the biggest and best floats in town and indulge in creole cuisine.
Because to the adult nature of the festival, the lucky winners will need to be over 21 due to US regulations.
